The Board of Directors and Director General are appointed by the Government.

Svenska Kraftnät is organised in nine departments. About 500 employees are working at Svenska Kraftnät.

Six councils are linked to our organisation, consisting of representatives of Svenska Kraftnät, the electricity industry, the natural gas industry and other interests.
