Workshop for providers of FCR regarding new technical requirements

On 28 March, the Nordic TSOs will arrange a workshop for interested market participants on future technical requirements for the ancillary services FCR-N, FCR-D up and FCR-D down. Both virtual and physical participation is possible. The workshop will be held in English. Pre-registration required.

The Nordic Transmission System Operators (TSOs) invite interested stakeholders to a workshop to present and discuss the future technical requirements for the ancillary services FCR-N, FCR-D up and FCR-D down.

At the workshop, the Nordic TSOs will present a summary of the testing and experience gained in the FCP-pilot, and the resulting technical requirements for prequalification of FCR-N and FCR-D. We will also discuss the Nordic TSOs' revised proposals for new technical requirements.

The updated prequalification documents will be published approximately two weeks before the workshop, together with an agenda. The updates to the documents will be based on the results and experiences of the conducted pilot.

Both virtual and physical participation is possible

The workshop will be held on March 28, 2022, at 9-16 CET at Oslo Airport. Pre-registration is required. Both virtual and physical participation will be possible. We encourage physical participation to provide better conditions for active participation during the workshop.

The requirements are subject to approval

The prequalification documents will be further updated based on the outcome of the workshop. Thereafter, the Nordic TSOs will produce a legal methodology proposal, based on the proposed requirements. The legal methodology proposal will be published for public consultation, and then submitted to the national supervisory authorities in the Nordic countries for approval.
