When does a chemical need to be reviewed?

Chemicals must be reviewed by Svenska kraftnät in order to obtain a classification. For classified chemicals, the following applies:

  • Chemicals that do not require label elements/exempt chemicals do not need to be reviewed.
  • Class A and B chemicals only need to be reviewed again when a new safety data sheet becomes available.
  • Class C chemicals must be reviewed with each new area of use, i.e. for a new contract or a new area of use within an existing contract.

Please use the flow chart below to determine if the chemical should be submitted for review.
