Stakeholder meeting on amendment of ramping restriction methodology in 2023
The Nordic TSOs invited stakeholders for a meeting in which the Nordic TSOs would like to discuss the required amendments to the ‘ramping restrictions for active power output’ methodology (in accordance with art. 137 of the System Operation Guideline) for implementation in Q2 of 2023.

The amendment is triggered by the Nordic implementation of the 15-minute imbalance settlement period (ISP) and the 15-minute market time unit (MTU) in the intraday and balancing markets. The changes will also need to be considered in the wider perspective of the developments in the Nordic power system.
The Nordic TSOs have started their internal discussions on amending the ramping restrictions methodology and wanted to discuss their initial thoughts with the stakeholders of the energy market.
Based on the stakeholder discussions, the TSOs will draft their amendments which will be ready for public consultation in spring 2022. The Nordic TSOs would very much welcome your participation.
