Guidelines for flight obstacles

High pylons and overhead lines constitute a danger to aviation and are affected by the Swedish Transport Agency's regulations regarding the marking of objects that may constitute a hazard to aviation. Svenska kraftnät has produced a guideline that summarizes and highlights the parts of the regulation that affect Svenska kraftnät.

The Swedish Transport Agency has decided on a new regulation regarding the marking of objects that may constitute a danger to aviation, TSFS 2020: 88 (which replaces TSFS 2010: 155), which entered into force on 1 January 2021.

This regulation has a major impact on Svenska kraftnät, as it must be applied to objects (pylons and overhead lines) of a height of 45 metres or more above ground level or water level.

Svenska kraftnät has produced a guideline for the purpose of summarizing the content and highlighting the parts of the regulation that affect Svenska kraftnät. The document is a general guide until all relevant Technical guidelines have been updated.
