Technical guidelines
Svenska kraftnät’s technical guidelines define the technical requirements for components on the national grid and facilities connected to the grid. There are also guidelines for documentation, physical protection, electrical safety and environmental standards as we expand and maintain the grid.
The technical guidelines are for example included as appendices in contracts that Svenska kraftnät signs with suppliers of construction and maintenance services. The guidelines thereby become a part of the content of the contract.
Some of the technical guidelines have been translated into English. The English version shall be regarded as a translation of the Swedish guidelines as a guide for foreign manufacturers and entrepreneurs. The Swedish text and the interpretation thereof shall govern the contract and the legal relations between the parties. In case the TR is only available in English, the English version shall govern the contract and the legal relations between the parties.
