About Snösätra – Ekudden
We are building a new electricity connection in southern Stockholm between the substations Snösätra in Högdalen and Ekudden in Huddinge. This is one of several reinforcements that we set up to secure the Stockholm region's electricity supply in the future.
The connection adds to a more stable electricity grid in the Stockholm region
The new link is part of the project Stockholm Ström, a collaboration between Ellevio, Vattenfall and us at Svenska kraftnät, with the aim to reinforce the Stockholm region's electricity grid. Together, we are building a new structure for the grid in order to meet the region's growing need for electricity.
