About Örby – Snösätra
Svenska kraftnät is building a new electricity connection in the south of Stockholm, between Örby and the new substation Snösätra in Högdalen. The reinforcement of the area's electricity grid helps to secure the Stockholm region's electricity supply in the future.
Consultation on expansion plans in the spring
In June 2015 we started consultations with stakeholders to inform about the proposed electricity connection and receive input on our expansion plans.
Preliminary time plan for start of construction
Currently construction started in 2020 and commissioning is expected in 2022. Time for the start of construction as well as commissioning are dependent on when the concession is granted.
