If you become a provider of ancillary services, do you have to bid for the full volume you are already prequalified for?

In the prequalification tests, both maximum and minimum tests can be done to show the maximum and minimum capacity. If a minimum test is not carried out, only bids for the displayed maximum capacity can be made. In other words, you cannot bid more or less than the prequalified volume.

If both maximum and minimum tests are done, bids can be made within the maximum and minimum capacity interval. It is therefore up to you how large of a bid you submit, provided that the minimum bid size requirement is met. It must be possible to activate the entire bid. As a provider, it is not permitted to bid more than the prequalified volume.

It is possible to bid within a range for the FCR-N, FCR-D up, FCR-D down, aFRR, mFRR and FFR ancillary services.
