Is it necessary to bid the entire volume you are prequalified for?
In the prequalification tests, you can choose to perform both a maximum and minimum test to show both a maximum and minimum capacity. If no minimum capacity test is performed, you can only bid the tested maximum capacity. In other words, you cannot bid more or less than the prequalified volume.
If both the maximum and minimum tests are performed, bids can be placed within the interval of the approved maximum and minimum capacity. This means that the size of the bid can be chosen freely, provided that the minimum bid size requirement is fulfilled and that the bid is within the approved interval. The entire placed bid must be able to be activated. As a supplier, it is not allowed to bid more than the prequalified volume.
You can choose to bid within an interval for the ancillary services, FCR-N, FCR-D up, FCR-D down, aFRR, mFRR, and FFR. Note that bids for FFR are placed during the annual procurement and cannot be adjusted after they have been placed.
