Why does the total volume of procured FCR capacity vary per hour and day on Mimer?

Svenska kraftnät and Energinet operate a joint market for FCR, and the activated volume from this market is displayed in Mimer. The total amount of FCR capacity procured per hour on the market must always meet the current volume requirements for both Svenska kraftnät and Energinet (DK2).

During Procurement 2, there is an opportunity to trade FCR with other Nordic neighboring countries, provided it is economically efficient. Trade with other TSOs is not included in the statistics shown in Mimer, which is why the total volume may vary between different hours and days.
