Frequency control and ancillary services on Gotland?

Providers on Gotland cannot currently deliver ancillary services as there are technical challenges that need to be solved for this to be possible.

It has been decided that ancillary services will be possible to deliver when the new AC cable is in place and Gotland then becomes part of the Nordic synchronous area. It is not yet clear what volume restrictions will be implemented.
