How should a variable resource approach power variations?

Svenska kraftnät has identified two main issues that variable resources must resolve and account for during the prequalification:

• Guarantee available capacity and detail how this guaranteed during bidding. This should be shown through the forecasted bid data submitted during the prequalification.
• Reference value used by the regulator for control which determines the final value that the regulator should aim for after the regulation has been performed. This is determined so that the response in the operational phase corresponds to the sold volume to the greatest extent possible.
