What is the difference between a unit and a group providing ancillary services?

A resource that provides ancillary services can consist of a single unit or multiple individual units. The resource is classified as a unit or a group based on whether the resource as a whole is located behind a single grid connection point (unit) or behind multiple different grid connection points (group). A resource consisting of one or more individual units placed behind the same connection point is therefore classified as a unit.
