Are submitted prequalification documents considered public documents?

All information submitted to a government agency is treated in accordance with the principle of public access to official documents. This means that anyone can request a copy of the information submitted to Svenska kraftnät, unless it is classified.

In the case of prequalification, it is recommended that the applying company specify what information is considered confidential and to clearly indicate why the information should be classified.

Svenska kraftnät is not bound by the company’s assessment, but will instead conduct an independent assessment if necessary.
