Does Svenska kraftnät participate in prequalification tests?

Svenska kraftnät retains the right to attend tests and may select occasions based on previously submitted applications and ongoing dialogue with market participants. However, actors intending to deliver less than 50 MW are not required to pre-register tests prior to prequalification.

Test registration must be submitted at least one week in advance to the relevant ancillary services mailbox: fcr@svk.se , ffr@svk.se , afrr@svk.se , or mfrr@svk.se (depending on the service or remedial action to be tested). Please include the following information:

Unit/group to be tested
Ancillary service/remedial action to be tested
Planned BSP
Time of test execution and estimated duration
Geographical location:
- For FCR tests: Metering Grid Area (MGA)
- For mFRR tests: Control object / If a control object is created, specify the MGA
- For other tests: MGA

If Svenska kraftnät is to attend the test, the date will be selected based on the availability of all involved parties. A test may need to be postponed due to adverse weather conditions. Therefore, test scheduling should be coordinated closely with Svenska kraftnät.
