Is it possible to prequalify a resource that delivers ancillary services at different locations?

Yes, however certain specific conditions apply.

Provided that the entire technical solution within the portable resource is brought along during relocation, such that activation, response, endurance, and so on remain identical regardless of location, this is permissible. For each connection point from which the portable resource is intended to deliver ancillary services, a full prequalification must be carried out.

Since the technical solution is assumed to be identical, the operator may reuse any previously performed technical test of the resource if it was performed within one year from the application date. This means that the technical tests of the resource only need to be performed once. However, a frequency measurement must be conducted locally at each connection point from which the resource will provide ancillary services.

When a portable resource changes its geographical delivery location, this must be notified to Svenska kraftnät via the respective ancillary service email address.

If it is intended that the resources will eventually make up the base for a future technically aggregated resource where the different geographical locations are intended to become permanent delivery points (no longer alternating), it should be stated in the application document that it concerns a type qualification.
