How does the Nordic Balancing Model (NBM) affect today’s ancillary services?

NBM will affect today’s ancillary services in several ways. One important difference compared with today is that settlement will take place every 15 minutes instead of every hour.

In addition, mFRR will be extensively automated with a view to ensuring safety and efficiency by introducing a higher settlement resolution.
