Extended processing times for prequalifications of ancillary services FCR, mFRR up, aFRR and the reserve FFR
In recent times, the number of applications for prequalification resources has increased significantly and almost doubled. Svenska kraftnät is positive that more ancillary services are entering the market, but the rapidly increased volumes are currently affecting our processing times.
During a limited period, the processing time for prequalifications will be extended. Svenska kraftnät is actively working to remedy the situation with the aim of being able to handle all applications within the specified time frames.
To improve efficiency, Svenska kraftnät will implement stricter measures regarding late submissions and compliance with specified deadlines during the prequalification process. The specified time for applicants to submit additional information during the application process is four weeks. In cases where the requested supplement is not received within this time frame, Svenska kraftnät may make a decision based on available information. This means that these applications risk being rejected.
