Svenska kraftnät publishes auction schedule for EPAD auctions in Q1 2025
Today, the auction schedule for the EPAD auctions in Q1 2025 is published as part of Svenska kraftnät's mission to improve the possibilities for hedging. Please note that the EPAD auctions in Q1 2025 will be held on Wednesdays.
Svenska kraftnät offers regular auctions according to a set quarterly schedule with an aim of being transparent and predictable. A total of 660 MW will be auctioned on 6 occasions during the 1st quarter of 2025. By regularly auctioning smaller volumes on several occasions Svenska kraftnät offers market participants continuous access to hedging opportunities.
The updated auction schedule covers auction opportunities from January 8th to March 19th 2025.
