Is there a limit on how much FCR volume may consist of stepwise regulated and centrally controlled units?

Centrally controlled FCR resources can be classified as either Category A or Category B. Only a limited portion of the procured FCR capacity may consist of centrally controlled FCR placed in Category B. The classification of an FCR resource depends on the capabilities of its associated IT system. A volume limitation for statically regulated FCR-D will be implemented. Svenska kraftnät is still awaiting confirmation regarding a common Nordic quota for static FCR-D. Resources that were previously prequalified and referred to as stepwise regulated will be included within the volume limitation for static FCR-D.
